in October of 2002, The
Gog!rls have
achieved quite a lot in such a short span of time. They were launched in a mall
tour featuring Cody Moreno of ICON Records late 2002. This was
quickly followed by stints in ABS CBN’s noontime show MTB and
back-to-back guestings in GMA 7’s BehBoteNga.
They were also tapped to help promote Sony Records’ dance-craze ASEREJE.
Their
regular dance gigs were punctuated by bit roles in various soap operas like Saan
Darating ang Umaga, Maala-ala Mo Kaya, Sana’y Wala Nang Wakas,
and semi-regular appearances in Buttercup. Fresh
from a successful dance concert in Zamboanga, the girls are presently busy doing
mall tours to promote the Otso-otso album, frontlining ABS CBN’s provincial
shows and regularly appearing on MTB on top of their regular dance gigs in
Manila’s top nightspots. With
such a colorful career achieved in record time, there is simply nowhere to go
but up for these 15 vivacious young women whose passion for singing and dancing
are only matched by their beauty and oozing charisma.
